If you haven’t heard about the upcoming launch of GVO in mid September then where have you been?
Many are predicting this will be the largest launch in internet history and for good reason. Many of the top internet markets in the world have jumped on board to start promoting GVO because they recognize the quality of the products that GVO offers and they know the compensation plan on the affiliate side is outstanding.
But as this is with most launches there has been some confusion about just what GVO is and how some of the promotional material that is being used to market the launch fits together with GVO and their product. So I’d like to take a few minutes to try to give some clarity to how all these promotional materials fit together.
First of all, allow me to explain exactly what GVO is and how their compensation plan works.
GVO (Global Virtual Opportunities) was formerly known as Kiosk. Kiosk is a well known web hosting company based out of Ontario, Canada. Many internet marketers already use their web hosting services as well as a lot of large companies. Some of the names you may recognize are as follows:
* Mike Filsaime
* Michael Cheney
* Todd Gross
* Frank Kern
What all these internet “gurus” recognized is that Kiosk had a quality product.
But Joel Therien, the CEO of Kiosk, recognized that Kiosk could be even better. So over the last two years he and his staff have been working on turning Kiosk into GVO. The moved their operations to Texas where they built their own datacenter from the ground floor up. They purchased their own equipment which included all their own servers. And because fiber optics is so readily available is the U.S., especially there in Texas, they now have some of the best web hosting platforms money can buy. They also hired their own staff of IT professionals to run the operations and to write all the code that they use to run their hardware.
So, they own their own data center, their own equipment, their own software code, and have their own people in place to maintain it all.
What exactly is it then that they are offering their potential customers with the GVO launch?
The main product that they are promoting is called the Titanium package and costs $44.95 a month with a $1 2 week trial. What does one get for this price?
* Unlimited web hosting with PHP and SQL support
* Unlimited autoresponder
* Video hosting
* Conferencing
* Web Alert
And so much more.
To purchase these products separately would cost a minimum of $400. So many people, including myself, are making plans to cancel our hosting and autoresponder service that we have elsewhere, and move everything over to GVO.
So GVO already has a great reputation because of their products. But what has created all the buzz is this new affiliate program they are rolling out. It is really quite lucrative and blows anyone else out of the water when it comes to compensation. Now it’s time to clear up some of the confusion that has been created by some of the promotional material that has been floating around to promote the launch of GVO.
The first one I’d like to discuss is the NRR (New Rich Report). Perhaps you’ve seen this web site when you’ve frequented some traffic exchanges or maybe received an email in your inbox about this program. It has propagated over the internet in recent weeks and is getting advertised quite a bit now as more and more people are using it to promote, not just GVO, but their primary business that they may be promoting. This is actually a terrific program and if you have a primary business that you are promoting then you should consider using this site to get more business to your site.
How does it work and how is it related to GVO?
The primary purpose of the New Rich Report is twofold:
* create a “funded proposal”
* create your prospect list
What is a “funded proposal”?
The basic premise behind a funded proposal is that one uses an inexpensive lead in product to entice someone to purchase and, in the process, accumulates some quick cash that they can use to fund their primary business.
What interested me in this idea was that the product they were using as their lead in product was GDI (Global Domains International). If you haven’t heard of GDI then read another post I wrote called “The Power of GDI“. I was already promoting GDI as one of the 7 income streams for my primary business which is ACME People Search. So I had a “lightbulb moment”. I could use the New Rich Report to get people to sign up with GDI and then promote them ACME People Search as a way to build their GDI downline, which a lot of GDI members are currently doing to get on the GDI Leaderboard.
What I didn’t know at the time, and a lot of people still don’t seem to realize, is how this all connects to GVO.
Well that’s where creating your prospect list comes into play. Because the New Rich Report isn’t just about getting people to sign up with GDI to fund their primary business. It’s about creating that prospect list. And what happens behind the scenes is that autoresponder messages are going out to your prospect list and telling them about GVO. So you have an automatic machine in place trying to get you GVO signups and therefore, GVO commissions.
This brings up another interesting issue and I’ve seen several people mention it in recent days.
Why would GVO use GDI as a lead in product since they seem to be in direct competition with GDI?
And the simple answer is that GVO IS NOT in competition with GDI!
They are two totally separate programs with their own money making opportunities. And both have their own positives to offer. I will continue to market both as a great way to get extra income.
GDI will probably appeal to people on a limited budget who may be just starting out in the internet marketing world. For $10 a month it’s a great way to try to build a residual income for LIFE.
GVO will probably appeal to serious internet marketers who have been around the block and recognize the need for the marketing tools that GVO offers for $44.95 a month.
So each has their niche to fill and one can continue to make money with both.
Now let’s move on to the other web site that has been making the rounds lately on traffic exchanges and email lists.
It’s called The 10 Years of Traffic.
This web site was put together by Bram Smith who happens to be a Senior National Executive at GVO. Bram has been a successful internet marketer for several years but has devoted most of his energy recently to GVO. But Bram has a lot of business opportunity web sites that he no longer maintains because of his dedication to GVO. So he created the “10 Years of Traffic” web site to help his downline receive some free traffic from these other sites that he owns. And once again, like the NRR site, he allows you to use this traffic to promote whatever primary business you care to market.
But, as with the NRR site, there is another purpose in mind.
And that purpose is to build your prospect list. And, as with the NRR site, autoresponder messages go out on your behalf, to promote GVO to your list.
So I hope you are beginning to see how all these sites work together for one common purpose.
